they should make blu-ray for solid state media, that would be pretty cool I think

@vn macronix has "XtraROM" which is high-capacity ROM derived from NAND flash, Nintendo is their main customer

@vn nobody except hardcore home theater people are paying $30 for UHD Blu-rays already

@leo I was thinking along the lines of optical solid state media rather than spinning disc. I don't know how it would work I just think it would be neat

@leo I don't even know how much UHD blu-ray movies cost on average tbh but the only blu-rays I own are video game discs which go for more than $30 (for reasons entirely different from the price of the medium afaik)
