i cant tell if treating my adhd would help get rid of my low attention span so i could work on a big project like zhat, or if it would remove my ability to hyperfixate so it would take forever

@mynotaurus functionally debilitating lifelong adhd haver here to say zhat getting my baseline executive function raised up even slightly improved absolutely everyzhing abt my life in every respect and made hyperfocus a lot less "fragile" toward external distractions like uh. eating, or using a bazhroom, or w/e
turns out untreated adhd was also a huge aspect of my depression ("damn i cant do fucking anyzhing" brain) and a modest bit of my longer-term anxiety too
sending u my strongest "make a few phone calls" energy in hopes of someday making phone calls less of a genuinely heroic feat. (also if straight up stimulants are hard to get at and/or as a complimentary baseline-raising tool, look into wellbutrin/bupropion. ymmv but lifechanging)
