weeeh i dont wanna learn another programming language but i think im gonna have to (PHP)

i gotta grab from a folder of image files and make both a thumbnail gallery and a way of getting an enlarged view of each image with metadata and alt text
and outside of clientside js my only hammer im allowed is php

as much as i love writing some fucked up js, an html generatey thing seems like a much better idea so i can do things like statically link to individual pages (is this how php works?? ill find out lol)

@vn the tutorial im reading just introduced it as kinda like javascript, which is good because im like the only critter on the planet who loves using javascript
