@leo it took me a few seconds to join a space from my personal synapse instance to matrix.org hosted spaces and channels. it's still buggy (not every space loads in fluffychat) but I assume it's working

I know right?? I was hoping for the Universal Stylus Initiative to help on that front but it looks like it hasn't really done anything. ended up getting a samsung tablet instead

Federation

Interactions with other fediverse instances are dictated through the terms of service of those instances. Unless they don't. I don't know how that works.

Blocklist

This instance uses the Tier 0 blocklist provided by Oliphant.social as provided on 2024-12-02. The reason for the blocklist is because, like, okay, listen, I don't want to have to figure out the legal culpability of hosting things I don't want to host, and I don't know how to turn off the media proxy. If you think you're being unfairly blocked by my instance, you're not missing much.
